*OOTW* #6

I have finally booked both of my holidays for this year. In may I am going to Magaluf for my friend's 21st and in July I am going to Tunisia with my lovely boyfriend :) So excited for my summer plans, have any of you booked any summer plans yet?
So with all this happening it has gotten me a little excited, to say the least, for SUMMER! Hence the brightly coloured outfit and the coolest shades ever.
This outfit would be perfect for a holiday evening just by changing the shoes, but also perfect for summer stroll through country lanes which inspired the cute comfy footwear.
I love all these items and they are all on my holiday wish list.
Have any of you made a holiday wish list yet if so post me the link below I'd love to give it a read.

Happy Saturday everyone, enjoy your plans whatever they may be :)

*Brits 2013*

Hello lovelies :)

So as you should all know unless you live under a rock that the Brit Awards took place this week. I do love award shows not that I can sit through them, they're just sooo long. The main thing about the award shows for me, as I'm sure is with every girl, is THE DRESSES!! I must say I was quite disappointed as mostly they were hideous but there were some STUNNING ones and some ok ones. So without further ado.......

Who Got It Right

Taylor Swift in Elie Saab - best dressed of the night!!

Rita Ora (after party) So glad she changed.

Little Mix looking fab as always

Tom Daley 'nuff said.

Rebecca Ferguson LOVE but un-matching shoes :/

Just right.
Jo Whiley in Halston Heritage

James Corden - Just so funny.

Love this dress!
Aluna Francis in Theyskens' Theory

Whit woo!
Laura Whittmore in Zoe Jordan

Does she ever get it wrong.
Alexa Chung in Valentino

Not for everyone but I really like this.
Jourdan Dunn in Balmain

Plunging but tasteful.
Jessie J in Versace

Lookin' fly for a white guy!
Justin Timberlake in Tom Ford

Who Got It Wrong
What's with that skirt? Shouldn't have changed!
Jessie J  (after party)

Not that bad but not for me.
Paloma Faith in Dolce and Gabbana

Why would someone even make this?
Lilly Allen in Chanel

One word springs to mind.. WAVE.
Katherine Jenkins in Stella McCartney

At least he tried with a suit.
Ed Sheeran

Did someone say iron??
Corinne Bailey Rae

Stooshe looking lovely except for middle stoosh :/

Bérénice Marlohe in Donna Karan

For the red carpet, Really??
Lana Del Ray in Chanel

In some angles it's ok, but those bum ruffles?
Rita Ora in Ulyana Sergeenko

Hello lovelies :)

So I've recently been contacted by Tipsyz who are a ladies fashion company, who have been supplying fashion clothing to many high street stores such as New Look, Jane Norman, Miss Selfridge Arcadia Group, Oasis, River Island and many more for past 25 years. They have recently launched their own website as a sub division of their business and aim to promote their own brand Tipsyz.

Here is a pick of my favourite items that they currently sell. Please take a look at their site and they currently have 10% off all dresses!!

*The Liebster Award*

First of all I would like to say a big thank you to Tasha Lauren Cleary from TLC for nominating me for this award and send my love her way. If you haven't already then check out here blog. she has such fun and interesting posts and they're so nice to read.

For those of you who have never heard of The Liebster Award then hop on board 'cause before I was nominated then I hadn't either. I found out (by googling a little) that this is not a physical award but a gesture of love passed on from one blogger to the next for us newbie bloggers. Liebster means dearest in German, and the award's actual rules have changed over time but these following rules seem to be the ones that have stuck and are being passed around now. So here goes...

1. List 11 facts about yourself.
2. Answer the 11 questions asked by the blogger who nominated you.
3. Ask 11 new questions for the bloggers you nominate.
4. Choose 11 bloggers with less than 200 followers to nominate.
5. Let everyone know they've been picked.
6. Say a massive Thank You to whoever nominated you  and share the love by linking back to their blog.

11 Questions from Tasha Lauren

1. What is your most hated fashion trend?
At the moment I'd have to say iridescent. Post coming soon.

2. Who's your celebrity style crush?
Ahh so many :/ umm to pick one it would have to be Alexa Chung.

3. Who's your favourite blogger/youtuber?
The first blog I ever came across before blogging myself and still always read is Silentsweetheart, so I'd have to say Kirsti is my favourite.

4. Whats your biggest pet peeve?
Personal hygiene or rudeness.

5. What is your most played song on your iTunes?
Enchanted - Taylor Swift and If this was a movie - Taylor Swift are tied first. In-fact out of my 25 most played songs on iTunes only 3 aren't Taylor Swift

6. How did you decide what to name your blog?
I was actually scrolling through all my songs on my iPod and this name stood out. Its a song by Duffy.

7. Name something you cannot live without.
I'd have to say my boyfriend.

8. What's your current favourite song?
I haven't really been listening to music lately so I'd have to say any off Taylor Swifts new album. Ok, I think you've realised by now that  i'm a major fan.

9. What are you looking forward to this year?
Both of my Holidays. I'm going to Magaluf for my friends 21st and then to Tunisia with my boyfriend.

10. Where is your favourite holiday destination?
I don't have one, I like to go somewhere different every year.

*OOTW* #5

Hello lovelies :)

Sorry for the delay with my ootw post but as you know if you've read my other posts I have been home and away from my laptop but I'm back in Spain now and ready to blog. This outfit is different to my usual but it reflects what clothes I have been looking at this week.

So this week I met up with my friend Olivia. She has her school prom in a months time and is desperately trying to find a dress. This post is inspired by her as we have literally traipsed through every fashion website looking for the perfect dress. If you have your prom coming up too then you will understand how difficult this can be. She has found and ordered so many but there's always something that stops it from being 'The One'.

I came across this one the other night on Miss Selfridge. Being a spring prom I think this dress ticks all boxes. It's simple, a perfect dusky pink colour, and the small pleats, embellished shoulders and not to mention that stunning dropped back would make you look like a floating angel :)

It was sooo hard to try and find accessories to match though. This bag goes quite well but I'm not entirely happy with the shoes but they were the best I could find.

If any of you know of any websites that sell inexpensive prom dresses please could you let me know I would be very grateful :)

Hope you like this outfit and if any of you have come across a perfect prom dress please let me know in a comment below.

*A Hopeless Romantic*

Hello lovelies!

Hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day yesterday. Being in a relationship I'm one of those people who loves this holiday, any excuse for gifts ;) I woke up to a bunch of roses being delivered to my door followed by a lovely cooked breakfast with a heart shaped egg <3
I decided to make cookies in the afternoon and made, attempted to make, them heart shaped to follow the theme of the day. Unfortunately, they didn't quite turn out heart shaped but they still tasted yummy if I may say so myself. I used this Millie's Cookies recipe so why not give it a try, they're so easy to make and taste delicious.
When my boyfriend retuned home from uni we indulged in the most delicious Frankie's and Benny's I've had in a while and to top off the day we finally booked our holiday in the evening, hooray!!
I've loved looking at all your pictures of your days so thought I'd quickly share mine.
Enjoy your weekend, I am returning to Spain on Monday and will be reunited with my laptop so look out for  my posts next week :)

*OOTW* #4

Hello hello!
So this week has been really busy welcoming new Erasmus students to Zaragoza for the second semester. It's so much fun meeting new people from all over and either communicating with badly spoken Spanish or discovering they can speak English.
Anyway I have returned home for a week and I borrowed my boyfriends laptop to continue with my post of  outfit of the week but sorry in advance for the lack of other posts.
Lately I have been obsessed with these chunky statement necklaces and I just fell in love with this one at first sight but at £60 it will have on stay on my wishlist.
I've noticed that this outfit is quite dark and gloomy :/ sorry about this maybe it's a result of the effect this British weather has on me. It's sooo depressing!
Anyway another love of mine lately is Mid's. I know they've been around for a while but I've just never fancied them but they have definitely grown on me lately and I can't wait to purchase one :)
I hope you like this outfit and enjoy your Saturday night what ever you may do!! I'm having a Chinese eek so excited.

Hello lovelies!!
So this is what I wore yesterday. I've been a fan of the tartan trend since it first hit the shops but I could never find the right item until I found this shirt. I actually got it in the sale in Zara mentioned in my sale haul post here. It's such a soft shirt, sort of silky like, (don't know if you can tell by the pictures) which makes it soooo comfy. I also couldn't wait to wear my new shoes. I just love Zara shoes as again they are so comfy and the soles are quite cushioned. So basically yeh, I Love Zara!!

Hope you like the outfit and enjoy your day :)

Shirt - Zara
Jacket - Newlook (kids)
Leggings - H&M
Shoes - Zara
Bag - River Island
