*A Hopeless Romantic*

Hello lovelies!

Hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day yesterday. Being in a relationship I'm one of those people who loves this holiday, any excuse for gifts ;) I woke up to a bunch of roses being delivered to my door followed by a lovely cooked breakfast with a heart shaped egg <3
I decided to make cookies in the afternoon and made, attempted to make, them heart shaped to follow the theme of the day. Unfortunately, they didn't quite turn out heart shaped but they still tasted yummy if I may say so myself. I used this Millie's Cookies recipe so why not give it a try, they're so easy to make and taste delicious.
When my boyfriend retuned home from uni we indulged in the most delicious Frankie's and Benny's I've had in a while and to top off the day we finally booked our holiday in the evening, hooray!!
I've loved looking at all your pictures of your days so thought I'd quickly share mine.
Enjoy your weekend, I am returning to Spain on Monday and will be reunited with my laptop so look out for  my posts next week :)

*OOTW* #4

Hello hello!
So this week has been really busy welcoming new Erasmus students to Zaragoza for the second semester. It's so much fun meeting new people from all over and either communicating with badly spoken Spanish or discovering they can speak English.
Anyway I have returned home for a week and I borrowed my boyfriends laptop to continue with my post of  outfit of the week but sorry in advance for the lack of other posts.
Lately I have been obsessed with these chunky statement necklaces and I just fell in love with this one at first sight but at £60 it will have on stay on my wishlist.
I've noticed that this outfit is quite dark and gloomy :/ sorry about this maybe it's a result of the effect this British weather has on me. It's sooo depressing!
Anyway another love of mine lately is Mid's. I know they've been around for a while but I've just never fancied them but they have definitely grown on me lately and I can't wait to purchase one :)
I hope you like this outfit and enjoy your Saturday night what ever you may do!! I'm having a Chinese eek so excited.

*Tartan*

Hello lovelies!!
So this is what I wore yesterday. I've been a fan of the tartan trend since it first hit the shops but I could never find the right item until I found this shirt. I actually got it in the sale in Zara mentioned in my sale haul post here. It's such a soft shirt, sort of silky like, (don't know if you can tell by the pictures) which makes it soooo comfy. I also couldn't wait to wear my new shoes. I just love Zara shoes as again they are so comfy and the soles are quite cushioned. So basically yeh, I Love Zara!!

Hope you like the outfit and enjoy your day :)

*OOTW* #3

This week I have something a little different. It looks like neon is a definite trend for S/S 13. I have never, and I don't think will ever be a fan of neon but of all the neon colours, I can tolerate the yellow in small dosses. In some outfits (only black and white) just a hint of the neon yellow can actually make it a little more sophisticated and turn a few more heads. Above I've chosen a simple yet stylish black and white outfit which personally I think can be worn day or night. Adding the right neon accessories, and by right I mean not tacky, I think it actually completes this outfit perfectly. What do you think? Too much neon or just the right amount? I included this cute bun garland simply because I have been lusting after it for weeks now, well since it appeared on the 'new in' page. I think it's so pretty and can take the disaster out of any bad hair day.

Just one more thing... How amazing is this bag?? It has neon down to a T. She has some other lovely neon bags in her range like this one which would be perfect for this outfit at night. If I was ever to invest in anything neon it would be a bag like this as this one is quite pricey at 495 euros (£432) but I think it has River Island written all over it so I will be watching in case they make a similar version.
Enjoy your Saturday everyone and as always thanks for reading :)

Red bag - Stradivarius // Brown bag - Stradivarius // Brown boots - Pull and Bear // Gold studded brogues - Zara // Silver studded slippers - Pull and Bear // Grey Jumper - Zara // Yoko tee - Zara // Jeans (not sale) - Zara // Red tee - Zara // Wine skirt (not sale) - Primark // Grey patterned top - Zara // Check shirt - Zara // White flower blouse - Zara

Hello:)

Finally I had my last exam today hooray!! I'm free to spend as much time on my blog as I want :)
So as promised in my last post here are my new purchases from my second sale haul. I say new because a lot of the items I purchased before went down in price and seen as I hadn't worn them yet I bought them again and returned the more expensive ones but only new purchases are pictured.
A lot of my items are from Zara because their sale is simply amazing! All of their lovely pretty good quality tops that used to be 30 euros or more are knocked down to around 13 euros, which is even more amazing when you take into account the exchange difference too.

I haven't included the prices simply for my benefit so I don't freak when I see the total but if you would like to know then just ask :)

Hope you enjoyed this post and it will be the last sales items I purchase! hopefully :/

Enjoy the rest of your day,

*Carpe Diem*

Hello Lovelies :)

So I have another outfit post for you today, hoorah!! Being exam time and the fact that I don't have a lot of places to go, either I've just had pj's and jogger days or quickly popped on jeans and a tee to nip to the shop. It's still exam time but since I have a week until my next exam Sian and I decided to go shopping.. AGAIN! These Spanish sales are no good for my bank balance but on the up side I now have new pretty items to hang in my wardrobe :) Expect to see a (picture heavy) haul post soon.

So the other night I got around to cutting my Levi shorts. When I bought them in Paris they had simply been cut straight across from jeans, I assume, so I had to cut them to fit and I'm rather happy with how they turned out. I have another pair to do so hopefully they will turn out the same but who knows with my cutting skills :/

T-Shirt - Chirs Brown Concert
Levi Shorts - Charity Shop (Paris)
Cosy Tights - Primark
Shoes - Vans
Jacket - Newlook (kids)
Belt and Bag - Stradivarius

(excuse the horrible bedroom lighting I took them in the night)

This post is dedicated to my Chris Brown fan t-shirt I bought in his concert in Paris. I think it really works with these shorts and I kept it really simple but added a pop of red (new belt, new bag) to add some colour.
Hope you like my outfit! Enjoy the rest of your day :)
